53' Rigid Inflatable powerboat
The Ribco RSY53 is the new Flagship high performance rigid inflatable from Ribco powerboats in Greece. This performance powerboat design is the product of close collaboration between the Ribco in house design team and our team at BRYD; achieving a striking high performance best in class powerboat design for the superyacht and hi-end leisure markets.
The exciting yacht design supports a tri stepped hull developed by Lorne Campbell. With an outboard version incorporating 4x Mercury 600hp duo-prop engines or, twin Volvo Penta D11 725hp with Top system surface drive propulsion. The Yacht produces an impressive, expected speed of over 68 knots.

Ribco RSY 53 Design
Exterior
As you would expect the exterior design of the Ribco RSY 53 is an evolution of the design language that has become synonymous with the Ribco DNA, who are Known for creating stylish and highly progressive performance Rigid inflatables designs. This ethos and progressions are rooted deep within the angular striking lines of the yacht’s exterior.
The deck layout allows for space and comfort with an array of seating and table space, providing an exceptional space for socialising and lounging. The design can support a sliding door option into the interior saloon and helm station providing a practical option for colder climates or just to escape the elements at high speeds.
Both versions are provided with a spacious stern beach platform area and are equipped with opacmare swim ladders, enabling you to enter and exit the water with ease.
Interior
The design of the yacht offers a luxurious feel, with space to enjoy a drink on the aft deck with dinner, or want to relax in the enclosed saloon on the large corner seating with a movie.
Storage is in abundance, with under sofa storage throughout the yacht and space in the galley for all stores and provisions. Stylish sliding doors separate the aft deck to the cockpit where a saloon, galley and helming station are positioned.
The helm station supports an ergonomically optimised contemporary design, with comfort and control at the forefront of the concept, incorporating four Ullman Atlantic shock-absorbing seats and folding bolster high levels of comfort in extreme sea conditions or at speed. The helm and navigation seats position you directly in front of the three 19’ Raymarine navigation and media control screens and Mercury Vessel View display. The technical features continue with the Mercury Dual-Handle Digital Throttle and Shift System also included on the RSY53.
The high-quality interior continues down below, with two double cabins and a striking skylight featured in the master bedroom. with two convertible day beds too; one converted from the downstairs saloon table and one situated in the cockpit. Downstairs includes another smaller galley with a sink and fridge for ease of use.

Structural engineering
The RSY53 is constructed via Vinyl ester – PVC core infusion processes with Structural scantlings that have been developed in compliance with Lloyd special service craft regulations G2A as well as ISO 12215 -2019 under cat A ensuring a robust ocean-capable craft.
Critically loaded areas have been developed utilising comprehensive tools including Composide design software and drawing on industry-leading expertise in design and evaluation.
The results is a robust yet lightweight craft, capable of the demands required of this high performance craft.
