To achieve the design brief of 7 meter extension and 60 degree slew with little available space within the yacht, an innovative solution was required. Subsequently an option supporting a mid fold mechanism as well as a telescopic extending end section was put forward to achieve the requirements. For this project BRYD undertook the entire design for the project utilising Autodesk Inventor and Autocad also calling upon specialist CAE tools throughout the design.
In 2017 BRYD invested in Siemens NX software licences Adding large range of additional design capabilities.
